dennis vee

Deadpan Delivery. Deep Roots.

Bio Snapshot: Known for his sharp veteran POV and no-patience stage presence, Dennis Vee has built a loyal following with his blend of dark humor and hard-earned honesty. A former New York comic who took a 20-year detour through the U.S. Army, and then retired to teach middle school, because apparently he hates peace… He draws on military life, the classroom, and aging to deliver comedy that hits funny because it’s painfully true.

HERO Connection: His humor connects with veterans, military families, teachers, and first responders, the people who’ve seen some things, don’t sugarcoat reality, and laugh at the realities of life just to get through the day

Relevance & Role: As a retired Army veteran and former middle school teacher, Dennis brings a hard-earned perspective and unfiltered relatability. He helps HERO audiences see themselves in the laughter, whether it’s service, the classroom, or just surviving adulthood, while lighting up the room with honesty, edge, and zero sugarcoating.

A man leaning against a red brick wall with a serious expression, wearing a light gray jacket and a watch, against a backdrop of red curtains and with a cartoonish speech bubble with a broken heart symbol in the top right corner.
